Booking & Studio Policies

My goal is to provide every client with the time, care and attention their treatment deserves. Appointments are reserved specifically for you, so I kindly ask that the following policies are respected. By booking an appointment you agree to them.

Cancellations & rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the loss of your deposit and a new deposit may be required to rebook.

Late arrivals

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Arriving 15 minutes or more late may require your appointment to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid affecting the next client. If there is not enough time to safely and properly complete your treatment, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and the applicable cancellation policy will apply.

Deposits & booking

A $100 deposit is required for cosmetic tattoo appointments to secure your booking. Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received. Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your treatment.

Payments

Payment is due at the time of your appointment. H.D. Esthetics accepts cash, debit, Visa, credit card and e-transfer.

Cosmetic tattoo results & touch-ups

Cosmetic tattooing is a process, and healed results vary from person to person. Skin type, lifestyle, previous work, aftercare and individual healing can all affect pigment retention. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired result, and touch-up appointments are priced separately unless otherwise stated.

Previous cosmetic tattooing

Previous cosmetic tattooing must be disclosed before booking. Existing pigment may need to be sufficiently faded or removed before new work can be performed. H.D. Esthetics reserves the right to postpone or decline treatment if existing work could compromise the safety or quality of the result.

Health & treatment suitability

All clients are required to complete the appropriate health and consent forms and disclose any relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, previous procedures, or other information that may affect treatment or healing. In some circumstances, treatment may need to be postponed or medical clearance may be requested.

Aftercare & healing

Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided following your treatment. Following these instructions is an important part of achieving the best possible healed result. Healing and retention cannot be guaranteed.

No pressure to proceed

Not every treatment is right for every client. If I believe a service is not appropriate for you, I will explain why and recommend an alternative when possible. Cosmetic tattoo consultations are complimentary, and there is never an obligation to book.

Results

Results vary between clients. Healed colour, retention, and longevity depend on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, and any previous cosmetic tattooing.

Cosmetic tattooing is a treatment with risks and is not suitable for everyone. Suitability is assessed individually and medical clearance may be requested.
